People often feel better after just one therapeutic Reiki treatment. However, if you have a chronic illness or are experiencing a great deal of dicomfort, pain or emotional stress, I might recommend a series of sessions for optimal benefit. -- I make recommendations on a case-by-case basis and tailor a plan to fit your individual needs.
Before we set up our first session or get started on a treatment plan, you might want to know a little more about me. I am a registered nurse who has a heart-felt passion for helping people live full and enriching lives, no matter the circumstances. In 1990, I graduated from the BSN program at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI. I was first a pediatric nurse-intern turned cardiac ICU charge-nurse. I spent six years in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver before working in cardiac rehab at the South Denver Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic with Porter and Swedish Hospitals. I've also worked as an RN in the PACU (post-op care unit) at Porter.
In 2011, I offered Reiki and Healing Touch therapies as a volunteer for the Hospice of St. John in Lakewood, CO. My passion is to now help those dealing with chronic illness and disease. This includes people who family members and caregivers. I completed my professional coach training through CoachU in 1998. In 2008, I completed my extensive Reiki practitioner training and have received my certifications from the Center for Wholistic Health in Lakewood, CO and The International Center for Reiki Training . I am currently studying with the Healing Touch Program to further my learning. Also at this time, I am a RN Case Manager in the Special Care Clinic for Children's Hospital Colorado
I am dedicated to helping people find the strength and courage to move through illness, plus find the peace and hope needed to move forward in difficult times.
In addition to my 11-year nursing career, I started a professional coaching business in 1998 called BenchMark Coaching, Inc. In this practice, I helped thousands of people create health, wealth, and happiness and find greater purpose in life.
