My Training and Background

I graduated from nursing school at Viterbo University in Lacrosse, Wi. in 1990. I then went on to specialize in cardiac nursing in telemetry, cardiac procedures, and coronary ICU. I also worked as a cardiac rehabilitation nurse who helped people recover from heart attacks and open heart surgery by implementing diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. In addition, I have post-op recovery, dialysis and pediatric experience.

Between 2000 and 2011, I completed the professional coach training program with CoachU, Healing Touch Training with the Healing Touch Program, and Reiki Master Teacher training through the International Center for Reiki Training and the Center for Wholistic Health in Lakewood, CO.

In 2016, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.

My education has include trading from the world's top health and wellness experts and has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with clients like you to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life such as love and relationship as well as career, spirituality, and physical activity. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

Scheduling

I recommend that we meet for one session each week in the beginning stages of our work together. Then, in the second or third month, we can move to a twice per month, or monthly, meeting schedule depending on how you are progressing. Some people need more consistent support, or want to make changes quickly, and others prefer to work at a slower pace.

A suggested schedule is as follows:

  • Twice monthly meetings for another month or two, more frequently if you choose
  • Eventually, monthly sessions for ongoing support, adding occasionally meetings as needed
  • You can also purchase a package and meet weekly until those sessions are completed, take a break, and then come back for another group of sessions
